My grandmother - my BEST friend. She had such a strong faith in God until the very end. She did her best to instill this in all of us. In the early morning hours of June 2 2002 she lost her fight against cancer. She had fought so long and hard. She was brave and strong through out it all. She was strong for us when we were scared for her. I know she has taken her place in Heaven now, and I know she walks with the angels. But I still miss her so very much. I would give anything for one more day, one more hour, even just one more minute with her. I miss my best friend. The one person who never judged me, who was never disappointed in me, even when she had every reason to be. I know I will see her again one day. And I anxiously await for that day. I love you mammaw !
I never got to cherish the chance to have her for my mother in law. I only got a few minutes of borrowed time to get to know her. What I got to know was a picture of true courage. She was a brave and unselfish soul. She loved her children for she told me so many times. She loved the Lord. She knew where she was bound.

I have never known and probably never will know anyone with a heart as good as yours. You are still my rock of sanity even though you are gone from this Earth. I will be seeing you again someday soon and I await that day anxiously !
